Oregon State is smelling upset in Corvallis right now!  If WAZZUST loses then thats another team ahead of us that wont be ranked.  WAZZUST was 26th.

GO BULLS!!!

Do you think we will get any love by the polls after beating Navy?  The score didn't really represent the ass whooping we gave Navy until the 4th quarter.

Same answer I gave my son when he asked whether or not USF gets ranked.  Most poll voters didn't watch the game and see how it started with us manhandling them.  Would have been great to keep the pressure up and make a statement.  But I'd guess most voters will see a 7 point win over a bottom of the top 25 team and feel like RV is about right.

Not necessarily. That was the only game on TV at that time slot so the hardcore CFB pollsters probably watched the beat down and then turned to the WS at halftime. Also, I've noticed that an unranked team beating any ranked team is always seen as a good victory regardless of the final score. That being said I'm hard pressed for them to find a reason to put a two loss G5 team in the top 25 at this moment in time, but who knows! It may not surprise me too much if USF sneaks into the committee top 25 though. They generally take more analysis into game control and how a team looks. Granted they could also take our loss to temple and the potential of us missing the CCG against us.

Joey Knight must have seen the game, but he left USF out again.

Boise State looks unimpressive, loses to Wyoming, clings to his #25.

Not worried about WSU, although I like Mike Leach. I like that he has gotten WSU back on the map and starting off undefeated in the PAC-12 definitely helps his cause. Would like to see him run the table. His only losses were to Boise State (one loss) and EWU (one loss to the best team in FCS). Each of those losses could have gone the other way.

If we play like we did in the first half the rest of the season, we'll be ranked - although we might be sitting on the outside of the AAC championship game because of the loss to Temple. Oh well... you have to win the games that matter.

We could have hired "The Pirate" it would have been special. Mike White would have been leading the NCAA in passing for us this year

We never could have hired the Pirate.  For crying out loud, he water boarded a kid.
