Unenviable Position of Rooting for UCF vs. Temple

I'm looking to eliminate Temple.  A loss and they would be done.  Temple will not be an easy win next Friday night in Philly.

But then UCF would be undefeated in conference play as well... I mean I kinda get your logic but no, UCF needs to lose. They're getting just a little too confident over in Mickey Mouse town and they need to be knocked down a few notches. Defeating the defending east division champs is not a way to do that

I'll never forgive them for slashing Woolard's tires. I want them to lose every game.

I want an empty stadium for their games with the return of the Beat Someone guy and the lonely dancing girl.

I want their results in the AAC to be worse than Rutgers' in the Big Ten.

I want the UCF student body to not even acknowledge their football program it is so bad.

No they wouldn't.  That's only 2 losses.  We lose to them next week and then drop one game to Memphis/Navy, then they hold the tie-breaker and take the division.  No matter what they do this weekend, we need to beat them next week to eliminate them (because we give them 2 conf losses, and hold the tie-breaker on them).  

Much prefer Temple wins and UCF loses and crushes any momentum they feel they have after beating a ECU team in a bit of a tailspin.  Plus a UCF loss puts them at 3-3 and forces almost a must win road game at UConn for them (as they have a virtually guaranteed loss to Houston that following week).  A 3 game losing streak and a 3-5 record for them would be devastating to a team trying to rebuild from last years team that completely gave up the entire second half of the season.

Emotion may rule over logic, but bad math beats ALL of that ****!

Must we pull for UCF to beat Temple this weekend? 

If UCF beats Temple then Temple would have two losses in conference and would all but be out of the chase in the AAC East.  Even if UCF runs the table and we drop a game we would still win the East with a victory over UCF to end the season.  Talk about attendance would cease if UCF comes to Tampa for all the marbles to end the season.

Lots of season left, but it would be good to eliminate Temple this weekend.
