Say it ain't so!

Must we pull for UCF to beat Temple this weekend?

If UCF beats Temple then Temple would have two losses in conference and would all but be out of the chase in the AAC East.  Even if UCF runs the table and we drop a game we would still win the East with a victory over UCF to end the season.  Talk about attendance would cease if UCF comes to Tampa for all the marbles to end the season.

Lots of season left, but it would be good to eliminate Temple this weekend.

Go Bulls!

At this point it's about eliminating teams from the East.  A Temple loss and there are only two teams left (UCF and USF) on our side of the conference.  As bad as most hate it, we need UCF to beat Temple.

No we don't have to root for them by any means. How about we beat both teams and take care of what we need to.

The only time I would ever root for them is if it meant a win by them 100% gets us into a conference championship. We're nowhere that.

Put the Kanigits out of their misery every chance.

Actually we should root for Temple to win since we play them next week. Plus all we have to do is beat everyone on the schedule, split the memphis/navy games and we are in the title game. We might also host the CCG depending on what happens with houston the rest of the way. They still have memphis the week after playing Louisville

This.

We need the teams we play to be in the strongest position they can be, record-wise, when we beat them.  I'm confident enough in USF's chances in the East division that I do not feel the need to root for UCF to help us out at any time.

Nope. UCF can suck it. We absolutely do not need them to beat Temple.

Beat everyone in the east and lose no more than 1 game to a team in the west and we win the division.
