Last year vs UCF

Was the UCF spread that high?  I thought it was less.

I would be surprised if we didn't cover the spread...

This impending hurricane could disrupt their travel plans thusly added at lease some disadvantage however slight.

I feel like I say the same thing before almost every single game. I think the miserableness we suffered through for the last few years has made it almost impossible for us to see how good we really are and to be as optimistic as we should be. This team's talent level really is so far above and beyond the competition we play week in and week out (besides FSU). There's a reason why we've covered the last 7 times we've been favored.

I'm starting to believe this more and more. A combination of playing some "less" talent in this conference and having an explosive offense with skill position depth has pushed us to an echelon where we aren't only competing but have a chance to run up the score or many non-defensive minded teams. We have a system on both sides of the ball that attacks the general weaknesses of the teams we play and the relative depth to get over most injuries. Although looking at that big of a spread and a team we only barely beat last year still gives me some butterflies going into this game. Also the defensive egg we laid against FSU has kept me honest on what our team is.

Its nice to keep winning and to feel confident but the losing over the last half decade has at least kept us honest as fans. All in baby, leave no doubt!

Huge point spread.  When is the last time we were favored by 20 vs a Conference opponent?  I guess the QB is definitely out?

He didn't practice Tuesday. I was thinking about wagering a few games but not sure about touching this line although USF's D is much better against pass heavy teams, ECU like Cincy doesn't even try to run the ball

I think weather will have more of an impact. Rain + Wind = running the ball, which we are good at but will not be able to put up as many.

Maybe? Depends how far East it stays. It made landfall in Haiti at 7am yesterday and most radars indicate it is still pretty nasty. Tampa is on the "safe" side of the storm but this thing has been running west of all of the models and some have it running right up the turnpike.

If it rains hard, that's going to cause trouble for ECU because of how much they pass the ball.

Rain favors the running game. I don't think ECU can run it.

That Zay Jones is going to be a pain to stop.
