It was going to happen, sooner or later, once we got in the same conference..... Still resonates Arenaball to me. Maybe this is a good sign because it makes no sense if only one of us goes to the B12.

Huh, here I was expecting a complete board meltdown now that the non-rivalry is now considered a long time rivalry that officially has a trophy.   Perhaps it is too soon.

All I really want to know is how this affects USF going to the Big 12.

If it was REALLY a long time rivalry, it would have had a trophy a long time ago ...

The name had its origins in Arena football, no question (Storm vs. Predators, back when that was a thing). But I think it's fair to say that CFB is bigger than Arena football, so maybe this will give the moniker new life, especially if both teams are good and in the same conference one day.
