Syracuse was moving the line of scrimmage right off the snap and the Bulls defense had no response for Cuse’s upbeat offense. The defensive line shored up and played better through the second quarter and the rest of the game, but with Florida State next week that has a much better and bigger offensive line, the Bulls will need to be much more efficient and stronger. Getting Bruce Hector and Mike Love back will help, but Dalvin Cook will be a big time player that USF must stop. 2)USF offense took a quarter, but is still efficient. ... 3) USF Secondary needs to be consistent. ... 4) Marlon Mack needs to stay healthy because he's too good ... 5) This USF team is mentally tough ... They spread our defense out and removed the LBs from the box as much as possible to get a 5 man box. That's very difficult to stop if you have average play up front. On the flip side, the pass rush continues to be non existent and that will be a huge factor.

We need more of this from the rest of the D-line against FSU.

I am still not worried about the pass rush. No team is going to get a lot of pressure on a QB when he just throws 3 yards or less quick passes all night. Except for a handful of passes, their passing game. Was an extension of their run game.
