I must admit, I like the grey unis.  Pretty sleek.

However someone needs to tell the idiot that wrote the blog entry that nowhere near 23k fans went to the spring game.  23k got tickets to the "Fastivel" (that is going to be great to make fun of this year), but if a third actually made it to the stadium I'd be surprised.  The stands were mostly empty.

Your full of it.  Plenty of photos show that the home side was almost completely full between the 25's with significant coverage all the way to the end zone.  On the other side the lower bowl was mostly full between the 30's and the lower level of the south end zone was also mostly full.  20,000 would be a good estimate.

Bright House stadium's capacity is 44k

So... you're claiming it was almost 1/2 full?

The side that SquareKnight said was "almost completly full" from the 20 to the 20 is barely half full.  Then there are entire sections of the lower bowl completely empty.  That is very obviously less than 10,000 "fans" in attendance.

Not only that, but a coworker of mine attended.  He said at least 3/4 of the attendees never made it into the stadium.  Smart thing by UCF to issue tickets to the events so they could pretend a larger crowd attended the game.

UCFers are really good at pretending.

Maybe the new football regime is emphasizing playing fast but they've always played fast .... and loose ... with attendance numbers.

What you did confirm is that is sure as hell wasn't 23K, or even the 20K your delusional brethren tried to pass off ...

These pics do show more people than other pics I've see.  I will revise my estimate to 12k, assuming that a large contingent were in line at the water fountains instead of in their seat.
