I noticed the USF Baseball team opens up our Conference Schedule against East Carolina this weekend.

Looks like USF is playing a very young lineup from the talented recruiting class.

Does anyone know what is up with Luke & Levi Borders? They have both missed several games. Are they injured? Did they leave the team?

Go Bulls!

Levi hit a 3 run homer in Sunday's game against Michigan State. I believe he's been hurt, but know little. Not sure what's going on with Luke. Both were in the dugout Friday night, the last game we attended.

Don't know exactly what's up with Levi but heard that it had something to do with doing too much crouching.  Just had to rest a few days.  Know nothing about Luke.

Baseball lacks some consistent pitching. I believe we lost to FGCU again this past Tuesday. The Eagles have won both games against us this season.

Just like the basketball team, injuries have taken a toll on the pitching staff. Friday night they were using a converted outfielder on the mound late in the game.

Yeah they mid-week games are this team's Achilles heel. Seeing how they played v MSU was very pleasing though.

If everyone (pitching) gets healthy next year, look for the Bulls to be in the Top 25 at some point in the season.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
