Dogma Posted February 9, 2016 Group: Member Topic Count: 303 Content Count: 5,550 Reputation: 866 Days Won: 21 Joined: 11/07/2009 Share Posted February 9, 2016 The football stadium proposed for Temple University's campus may not be that far from the red zone after all. Despite continued protests from student groups and some area residents, Temple's board of trustees Monday gave the OK to pursue designing a 35,000-seat stadium in the Northwest corner of campus. The project, the trustees said, will proceed only if enough funding can be secured and city approvals obtained. They authorized spending no more than $1 million on a design and environmental impact study. "What we're asking for today is design approval," President Neil D. Theobald said. The approval came at a special meeting of the board, which delayed a vote on the project in December after then-Mayor Elect Jim Kenney expressed concerns. The unanimous vote by the trustees will allow the university to create conceptual designs of the proposed stadium, now estimated to cost about $126 million, and look into parking and other impact on the neighborhood. How many season tickets do you have? How much are you going to donate to build and maintain an OCS? I support having an OCS, you are a hater. Move on.

All but one, that due to religious observances. Toss in two road games. Two season tickets, I'm trying to add more but need people to commit. I'll donate what I can. I sat through three years of abysmal play. I can handle worse. Edited February 9, 2016 by bullsbucsfan426 Answering more questions

None! I do not have season tickets. i usually attend 2 or 3 games a season. (I don't live in Florida) Yes, I will donate money to an OCS. As for how much, I haven't thought about it but it wouldn't get anything named after me. I would much rather see games in an OCS than RJS, regardless of how the team is performing

Wake me from my OCS-induced dreams when we have a donor base that actually steps up. Edited February 9, 2016 by Paisa el Toro
