Landed some certified studs. Could have been better if we had held on to Stover and Smith, but overall a pretty good class. The class ranking in relation to others is lower, but because of the smaller number of signees. According to 247's composite rankings, by average player rating we were in the 45ish range nationally and second in the conference to Houston by about a point. Heck FSU flipped a kid from us that we flipped from Georgia Southern. Saving grace is that we have some options. Play a 6th OL in short yardage. Convert someone from the defense to be a blocking HBack. Pray Swanson comes back(just saying but I have heard nothing to make me think that's possible). Or run more 4 WR spread. We also have Hintze at TE, so four total. Would have been nice to get Nabers for sure, but we'll probably be ok. 89 Mitchell Wilcox TE Fr. 85 Elkanah Dillon TE RFr. 80 Ryan Hintze TE RFr. 48 Spencer Adkinson TE So. All 16 of USF's signings were 3-stars or better, which is quite rare for teams outside of the major power-conference programs. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2614115-most-underrated-2016-college-football-recruiting-classes/page/
