The funny thing is, even though the article references 4 and 5 stars, the chart at the bottom of the article, listing there recruiting class, shows only 3 star players.

 

However, I think they're referring to their current roster being loaded with 4 and 5 star players.

Also, USF's class includes a ridiculous number of now-eligible transfers. Woulard, MVS, Cherry, Alexander, Hudson, Bethel, Sands...

Their class looks pretty strong considering their season, although, we got a similar bump from CWT when he got hired, new coach hype.

Depends on how you want to quantify it.  2nd some ways, 5th another, 3rd yet another.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, isnt there usually a lag between seasons and recruiting success? Like another poster said earlier, a bad last season and a slow start this season probably hurt us. They may have had good commits from back when they were Back-to-Back champs.

That kid is good. Was a Miami commit for awhile but grades are a big issue.

We have a relatively small incoming class. Considering that we did very well.

Also, it doesn't really count for "rankings," but if you think about the number of transfers who will be eligible for the first time next season, we should be very much improved.
