The settlement has extremely little to do with Jameis Winston.  It's all Title IX and how FSU was handling their business.  You guys in Florida are paying for it, as I believe it's coming out of the state risk management fund.

As for Winston, I think he's got a good shot to win his countersuit.  He's been cleared by pretty much anyone official who's looked at the case.  Girl is a cleat chaser and looking for a payday.  I hope he holds the line and lets it go to trial.

Yup, there's more to this case than is typically reported. The facts are interesting on all sides of this matter.

I think the entity that comes out the worst here is the Tallahassee Police Dept. Without their botched investigation, there would be no Title IX issue:

The defendant had to agree to the terms of the settlement.  In this case (she) must have thought it was a good deal to close the case.  Move on.  Nothing more to see here.

The "she" is the plaintiff, but anywho ...

Jimbo Fisher stood up and defended his Player despite the fact that the media had already convicted him & only wanted to tell 1 side of the story.

That goes a long way when parents decide where they want to send their kids to play Football.

You missed my poor joke, anywho.

Where was the joke? Aw, never mind; it's not a joke if you have to explain it.

Perhaps if it had been better, I might not have.  That's on you, anywho.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
