Finally got around to checking the Bowl page and am wondering if part of that $170 ticket price for the AutoNation Cure Bowl goes in as a donation ...

I believe that is a club seat with club access. I can check.

So now USF wants the non season ticket holders to buy through them, but couldn't be bothered with us for away game tickets? Might as well buy on stubhub for 1/10th of the face value.

The $170 tickets do provide Club Access.

I was told that all the ticket sales from that game will be donated to Cancer Research

Just to clarify that erroneous statement. Non season ticket holders could buy through USF for away games. Could be a Bulls Club or Alumni Assn member also..... you know, just be giving something back to the university.

I did the same and was told I could not buy. However, the policy must have changed soon after as I did get UCONN tickets through USF.

I just reserved tickets for all bowl games. Couldn't find a link to reserve American Championship tickets on that link, though. Perhaps it wasn't on the mobile version of the site?

I think it said that goes available once we are locked in to play in that game.

You didn't have to be a season ticket holder to buy them (early on, I guess) but you did have to be a Bulls Club or Alumni Assn member. That's what that horribly written sentence I wrote meant ...

It was a terrible policy, which I suspect is why they got rid of it.
