Does this count toward the allocation for USF (so that the university gets credit)?

Yes

Should we have received something about this, John?

I got an e-mail Sat night right after the game:

USF Football: Bowl Eligible! Reserve Your USF Football Bowl Tickets Now!

Together, we made history tonight! The USF Bulls defeated #21 Temple by the score of 44-23, marking the sixth time in school history that the Bulls defeated a Top 25 ranked opponent at home and, with their sixth victory of the season, became bowl eligible.

Sophomores Quinton Flowers (15/22, 230 yards, 2 TD's; 18 carries/90 yards, 1 TD) and Marlon Mack (21 carries/230 yards, 3 Total TD's) paced a Bulls' offense that racked up 556 yards of total offense. Rodney Adams added career highs in catches (6) and receiving yards (147). The Owls had come into tonight's showdown leading the American Athletic Conference in both scoring defense (18.4 points per game) and yards allowed (335.0), marks that were 19th and 25th, respectively, in the FBS.

With this, our fifth victory in our last six games, the Bulls move to 6-4 overall and, at 4-2 in the conference, are one game back of Temple (8-2, 5-1) in the East Division of the American Athletic Conference.

Now that the Bulls have qualified for post-season play, you can visit our post-season webpage HERE to learn how to purchase bowl game tickets, find the dates, times, and locations of each potential bowl site, and other information to help you plan your trip to support the Bulls when they play in their first bowl game since we defeated Clemson 31-26 in 2010.

Our USF Bulls have two conference games remaining to catch Temple and represent the East Division in the inaugural American Athletic Conference Championship game.

  • Friday, Nov. 20 at 8:00pm vs. Cincinnati Bearcats at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL.
  • Thursday, Nov. 26 at 7:30pm vs. UCF Knights at Bright House Networks Stadium, Orlando, FL.

Tickets for each of these games are available by clicking HERE to order online or by calling the USF Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-GoBulls (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm).

AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The American Athletic Conference Championship Game will be played Saturday, December 5th at Noon ET. Due to conference records, USF will not host the championship game. The Bulls are still able to travel to another conference site to play for the championship. In the event that USF qualifies, USF Football Season Ticket Members, Bulls Club Members, and USF Football Fans will be able to order American Athletic Conference Championship game tickets in the USF section upon winning the East Division.

BOWL GAMES

We are pleased to offer USF Football Season Ticket Members, Bulls Club Members, and USF Football Fans a priority request period for postseason tickets. You can now place a request for all potential bowl games that USF may compete in. Bowl game ticket requests must be submitted by Wednesday, December 9th at 5:00 pm to be included in the priority process. Ticket requests will only be fulfilled for the postseason game(s) in which USF plays. All other ticket requests will be automatically cancelled.

Bowl Games

When ordering bowl game tickets through USF, you will pay face value and sit with fellow Bulls fans. Your participation also helps USF in selling our allotment which bodes well for future bowl invitations. We highly encourage you to request tickets through us.

USF Football bowl game purchasers have no restriction on the number of bowl game tickets they can order in 2015. In an effort to serve all of the bowl game purchasers, the Bulls Club may limit the quantity of tickets per account in the event a game is oversold.

All Iron Bulls will be guaranteed USF bowl game tickets as requested for this year.

For many bowl games, we will be able to fulfill all requests. We will attempt to assign the entire order together to the best of our ability. In the event that we cannot, this may mean filling your request with tickets at other price levels.

All requests must be secured with a credit card. You will only be charged and receive tickets for the bowl game in which USF plays – all other requests for bowl games in which USF does not participate will be considered null and void. Once your request is accepted and allocated, there are no refunds, exchanges, cancellations or changes. Name changes or alternate shipping addresses are not allowed. All bowl games will have a $10 handling charge per account. Once USF is selected to a bowl game your pre-requested tickets will be secured and your credit card will be charged in full.

Should your request be filled, seat locations will be allocated based on Bulls Club annual giving level and priority points. Any requests received after the priority deadline date of December 9th will be filled based on availability and not allocated according to your priority level.

Bowl games may offer discounted tickets to current USF students. We will begin accepting orders from Student Bulls Club members and general students once USF has been selected to participate in a particular bowl game.

Fan Travel, USF Bulls pre-game tailgate, parking, transportation and hotel information will be provided as soon as the final bowl game details are determined. Upon the bowl game announcement, please visit the Bowl Game Central page on www.GoUSFBulls.com for the most updated information.

AMERICAN BOWL LINEUP

In addition to the College Football Playoff and New Year’s Bowls, The American Athletic Conference has primary affiliation with seven bowl games for the 2015 season.

The conference works annually with its member schools and bowl partners to create the most sensible and attractive postseason match-ups in each game.

So now USF wants the non season ticket holders to buy through them, but couldn't be bothered with us for away game tickets? Might as well buy on stubhub for 1/10th of the face value.

Just stop. The away game tix thru USF cost more than what you could get them for somewhere else so stop pretending you would have bought through them to begin with ...
