Homecoming next week

We are playing Syracuse next week, and they used to be a homecoming patsy for us.  Now I doubt we will be able to beat them.  When is the last time we won our Homecoming game?  I honestly cannot remember.  If it was last year, then I would be shocked.

I'm flashing back to October 2012...  Up 20-3 at the half against the Orange.  The season might be turning around.  Then disaster strikes.  The 'Cuse roar back to tie us.  Then we go up 30-20 in the 3rd.  The Orange come back within a TD. We make a kick up 33-27.  'Cuse makes a heroic comeback for the ages to win by a point.  The season is doomed.  

That was my introduction to USF homecoming.  :')  I want Revenge.

bj went off in that game, I think he had over 200 yds passing and over 200 yds rushing or close to it. 2007 against nati sticks out to me b/c the first half lasted ridiculously long(2 hours?) due to multiple scores including back to back kick off returns for tds by both teams(if I remember correctly, I was quite intoxicated). Also, the student section lost their **** when Jessie Hester dropped a td pass at the end of the game.

I was thinking it was that game.  I went through the history of seasons on the GoUSFBulls.com website, but they do not consistently indicate which game was Homecoming.

So the Holtz New Error had a goose egg for Homecoming.  Willie T's bus has broken down for every Homecoming so far.  Maybe we need to save our annual D1AA cupcake game for Homecoming.  Hell, just make Homecoming the first game of the season.

No one cares about our conference and we have a history of Syracuse for homecoming.  That's all I got.
