It is very difficult for even great receivers to catch passes that are ten yards left or right of them. Jerry Rice would have been shut out today.

What are you talking about. Receivers played bad and dropped several passes that killed drives. QF missed a couple but the receivers had dropsies directly killing drives.

Re watched the first half and haven't seen the dropped passes you speak of. Just saw Bronson overthrown by a mile, one at the ground , one knocked away by Ramsey, a completion to Barr, an out of bounds completion to Barr and a near pick six

If we had Grothe, we would have won the game! We would have had a big lead and then Baby Barry Sanders (Orange Bucs fans -remember back in the day?) would have had to play catch up. That's the fastest college dude that I've seen not on a motorcycle!

 

Anyway, proud of the team! They REPRESENTED in the first half. I was so proud. But FSU has too much firepower.

I think we get it, you LOVE Flowers no matter how horrible or unaffective he is.  Congrats, but not recognizing his shortcomings will be your cross to bear this entire season.  That and it will get Taggart fired before the end of the year.  He is NOT a Div 1 QB and never will be, heck he's not even as good a runner as Grothe was back in his day.  And lets not even try a Flowers/Blackwell comparison.
