Let's just get right to the nucleus of the matter. Harlan said there isn't a number of W's but you know that is political talk. I think what he is saying in that statement is a team that gets 5-6 wins and is competitive should be enough to keep CWT, and I think Tomey will play a role in that decision.

So what does TBP say...what does CWT have to do to get your approval?

6-8 with a win over UCF. 8-5 with the bowl win would be great, but I'm not expecting that.

14 games.  So you're thinking we lose the conference championship at 6-6, and then lose our bowl?

6 or more wins and Taggart is back. 5 is a toss up and 4 or less and we are looking for a new coach

I chose the 6-8W option smart ass. 7-5 for the reg season and a bowl win would be nice, but not expecting that.

I think 5-7 will give him another year. 5-7 on the one after.....wave good-bye.

Will you look at that....maybe the crazies come out at night or something b/c it looks like most everyone so far is being quite reasonable with their expectations for CWT.

Looking at the schedule there are very few give me games, so if we can win 5 and hang in some others to keep it close, I think CWT gets another year since there is so much change.

I'm sorry, but 5-7 is absolutely unacceptable.  We're not looking for someone to prove themselves through blue collar bus driving and inspirational quotes.  We want results -- and we want them now.  A bowl game, or bust.

2-10 to 4-8...

I'd say 7-5.   7-6 with a bowl game loss would be a successful drive from his 'bare cupboard' days...
