I sit in the South endzone... or should I say I used to sit in the South endzone and while there I could not hear HOT for ****... if the crowd chatter does not drown them out then its the ****** PA announcer talking over them while they are trying to get the crowd into the game and pumped up. They should be mic'd up so you can hear the band over everything... its also not an amateur thing, Texas A&M, U of Texas, LSU, VT, and UGA are some big name programs that have mic'd up their bands.

I agree with this... also stop the announcer from saying "its another Bulls..." every time we get a first down... instead we should be able to hear the band, and by we I mean everyone in the stadium. They can easily do this by mic'ing the band and playing them over the PA system.

Good point... if I could I would change my vote from FSU to Miami... they are on the ropes down there and if we can go down there and beat them by 10-20 pts then it would destroy them. If we beat FSU again it will piss them off and they would likely reschedule another home and away to get back at us, but it won't destroy them.

Hmmm... I had not thought of this yet... will ESPN3 black out the game locally? While tickets are cheap I can't make it...

As much as it pains me that the War Flamingo has stood the test of time... if people like it then why fight it... at least its original vs. all of the other shiz that athletics tries to impose... I think that I may one day come around to it as long as its a green or gold flamingo vs. the neon eye burning pink. A neon or day glow eye burning green or yellow would stand out just as much. I think that if those behind this could change up the colors then more Bulls would likely jump on board. Bulls Heaven used to sell green and gold ones... not sure if the bookstore or Bulls Outfitter is gonna pick this item up now that Bulls Heaven is gone

If you have a TV with a video connector then you can pull the game up on ESPN3 on your laptop and then hook it up to your TV... only issue would be the sound, but as long as you have an old set of desktop computer speakers then you should be fine. This is what I have done every time ESPN relegates us down to the black void that is ESPN3.

Beer and Greasy Food -and- Gonna down grade this year and tailgate Bikeweek style with my motorcycle... two saddle bags full of beer, and a box of food strapped to the back seat... fold up motorcycle camping gear strapped to my forks... and a horned helmet on my head... good times.

Please explain how tailgating will be so much better on our campus ... its also an opportunity to go back to the place you graduated.... see familiar places and see the changes on a regular basis.... Seeing campus flooded with people and folks tailgating in lots/fields (on campus of course) would be really cool to see... some of you guys need to go to away games and see what its like... I second this motion... its sad that so many Bulls fans think that tailgating at RayJay can compare to a traditional game day atmosphere at the other top caliber colleges that we claim to be part of.

It was a 50/50 shot of bad weather or just another soaker.. in the end USF made the right decision because I can remember the cluster **** that occurred back in the early 2000's when USF made the choice to stay open and things went real bad. USF remained open... and the weather got real nasty as in flooded roads, closed bridges, tornadoes, and steady 50-60 mph winds... USF had everyone come into class/work and then at around 9AM USF told everyone to go home b/c the weather was not safe to remain on campus. A bunch of students got stranded and even more got stuck on local roads trying to get to class. When it comes to safety you have to err on the side of caution... what is the worst thing that happened today... USF's top brass lost out on a extra bonus at the end of the year from the allotment of hurricane days they bank on every year. If the hurricane days don't get used then it gets split up between the big wigs as a bonus. I'm not going to lose any sleep over that.

ESPN is an establishment network... they pander to the big programs and they loath upstarts that pose a threat to this system. ESPN is kind of like that old guy on Caddyshack that hated all of the low brow people in the club...

I will never "root" for these fucktards just like I will never root for Futgers, UConn, Natti, or Louisville... the only current Big East team I can root for is Temple and that is because I don't hate them yet. Only way I will root for a conference mate is if it helps us out and even then I have to drink myself into a stupor before I can even think about doing it.
