  1. I believe that it is being incorporated into the opposing teams bench area Should really facilitate a fast warm up for them and excite the crowd at the same time (especially based on recent events from Spain) 8 killed in Spain’s running of the bulls fiestas; tying record MADRID (AP) — The shrieks of fear-infused excitement as bulls charge...
  2. Maybe we need to get Coach Butehorn as DC on CJS’ staff
  3. An exciting play that occurred 1.5 quarters after the game was decided . . . Hindsight is 20/20, but if that had been the opening kick-off, things might have been different Saturday night I believe that @hm101was referring to the fact that we brought in a championship winning QB, but really did not try to utilize his skills until the third or fourth offensive series (by which time the game was basically over) More than likely, the decision to defer, as well as the play calling for the first few series, was decided earlier in the week. Hopefully CJS and CTT review the impact those decisions had and adjust accordingly
  4. If we are going dark side, then we should go all-in with our chips and hire Bobby Petrino
  5. No doubt McNeese State was a train wreck - I stayed for that whole game, thinking the comeback was going to start at any moment. Sufficit to say, I was a bit shocked when the clock hit 0:00 and the scoreboard read 53-21
  6. The bus was by far my favorite USF off-season marketing campaign I photoshopped my kids onto the Bus - printed the photo and had Coach T sign it at fan fest that year
  7. I would hope that someone on VPMK’s staff monitors this type of thing - it may be irrational feedback, but it is a datapoint as to how the fan base is feeling Unfortunately, the virtual torches and pitchforks are going to continue to grow until we beat ECU
  8. My goodness man, haven’t you been reading the comments? Parking Saturday was a complete and total disaster No pre-game coordination, parking attendants out of position - such that they were not even looking at the cars that they were parking, no in parking adjustments and no coherent plan to deal with the on-rush of BYU cars The result was higgly piggly parking, allowing the BYU vehicles to cut through the USF Tailgate lines like a hot knife through butter. After 25 years parking in the stadium lots, I am done I tell you Since Saturday evening, I have emailed Mayor Jane Castor every hour on the hour, demanding changes and letting her know that I am pulling all political donations and taking my parking business to HCC I have not heard back from the Mayor, but I have noticed that several nondescript workman vans are now parked near my house . . . I wonder what that is about?
  9. Parking was definitely off in lot 7 - due to Covid, we parked on peoples lawns for 2020/2021, so this was our first time in the stadium lots since 2019 In the past, they would fill row by row on the left, then move to the center - Saturday, they were all over the place, parking a line or two of cars on the left, then center. After that, they put cars in-front of the ones they just parked. Seemed a bit haphazard
  10. This statement sums up my feelings exactly I anticipated a 1-3 start, with a 6-6 finish - my feelings have not changed after last night
  11. To say that I was disappointed with the first few offensive series would be an understatement We bring in all this transfer talent, hype up the OC, talk about changes . . . then do not get a first down or show any creativity until the 5th series when we were down 28-0 I am pretty sure that GB was not put into a full drop back until maybe the third series and he did not run until the 5th I am guessing that Trickett put together the offensive game plan (along with guidance from Scott) - if so, they need to both rethink their strategy going forward
  12. My first tailgate at Ray Jay since the end of the 2019 season - it was fun
  13. Don’t judge yourself so harshly.- you probably could have beaten Temple too
  14. Second dig - recognized national championship
  15. I just can not get my head wrapped around 0 as a number in football - it looks natural in the NBA (especially 00), but football just seems odd
  16. Well . . . Covid of course, which puts me at year 0 in the Tailgate spectrum. Since the NCAA also granted an extra year of eligibility, I am really at year -1, meaning I can skate by for the next two tailgating seasons without any results Using Puc86 math, I figure I will really have things together in about year 7 (not counting -1 & 0 naturally), so in 2031, my set-up will be crushing the competition for Publix Tailgater of the Game!!!
  17. Started pulling out my Tailgate Gear (it has been 2 years) and I realized that my tent is done Any recent sightings in the Tampa Area for USF Tent's for sale? I checked the Sam's Website and could not find anything
  18. So many great names here, but my favorite #2 will always be Andre Hall - St Pete kid, who went the Juco route and then lit it up at USF. Imagine what 2006 could have been if Andre had an additional year of eligibility
  19. I just completed this quiz. My Score 40/100 My Time 217 seconds
  20. Beer run up the middle for a loss of two (he trips on the way to the fridge) I am amazed that anyone hired Gilbert as OC after his stellar performance at USF and I am equally amazed that Dino Babers still has a job after posting 5 losing seasons out of 6
  21. This type of behavior does not belong anywhere in sports nor our society as a whole I really wish that the US was more unified in-terms of denouncing these incidents
  22. “BYU wore 12 different uniform combinations in 12 regular season games last season.” They must have a stellar creative team to do that much with blue and white I really miss being a Nike team
