    I have to admit that I still have a soft spot in my heart for Mike Ford and 12 years later, I am still broken up by the fact that he got himself kicked-off the team prior to his senior season

    How long have you had that? I saw you walking out of the 2019 GT game (your name was on the back on that jersey as well) and was wondering if it was the same one I love the white side panels and wish Addidas would do something similar

    That was my first USF road game - maybe 10k Bulls Fans there (we basically had the entire sideline). Lockhart looked like a HS field as opposed to a D1 venue Passing game was off, but Grothe and Williams killed it on the ground. IIRC, Mike Ford was suspended for the game

    No idea on either of your questions Just to be clear, while I do not think CJS should be fired now, I do believe that if he fails to win 6 games this year, USF should strongly look at other options Also, I did not agree with the premature contract extension (could have waited another year)

    And there in lies the problem As a matter of practice, no coach (NCAA or NFL) runs out his contract, unless ofcourse he retires.

    My expectation for the season is 6 wins - if we pull the shocker and beat BYU, then my thought is we probably have a 7-8 win team I just don’t think we have the overall depth or team cohesion with the coaching staff at this point, for a BYU win to carry us further than 8 Now if we do go 8-4, with GB coming back in ‘23, that could be a special year

    Positive - just looked them up on GoUSFBulls.com, they definitely exist (though based on record, exist really is a relative term) Maybe CJS and CBG conspired to create the Mens Soccer Team in-order to make their own records look respectable?

    I am really struggling with why anyone would compare Timmy’s 2021 season to any other QB’s (USF or otherwise) As far as I know, Timmy is the only true freshman QB to ever start more than a handful of games at USF (QF started 1 in ‘14) and there is a reason why true freshman QBs are not starters at any school, they tend to make LOTS of mistakes In-short, lay-off the kid and stop comparing his ‘21 season to others If he beats out GB, great for Timmy, if he doesn’t, I am sure his life will go on

    I love the optimism For me, there is no way a 1 (hopefully 2 year QB) surpasses MG/BJD/QF For GB to be the best ever, he would need to surpass the 3000/1000 season with 36 TDs from QF in 2017 - if he makes a run for those numbers this season, it would certainly be fun to watch

    Based on the pictures, this appears to address a lot of my prior uniform complaints - the new uniforms appear to have sewed-in numbers and logos as opposed to decals, the iconic U as opposed to “South Florida”, numbers on the sleeves as opposed to horns (which never made sense to me since bulls have horns on their heads), gold foil look is gone
