    This is his schtick. The day of the USF-Louisville game in 2005 he has an article about how USF should build their team like UL if we ever wanted to be taken seriously. A 48-14 USF victory and crickets. Although that was pre twitter so he didn’t take much abuse for that crummy article.

    Considering that we would be booted out of the AAC for all other sports that would be absolutely true.

    That was the best individual performance by a Bull in program history. Glad that at least some think it was the best individual performance this season.

    The offensive play calling leading to the field goal on our penultimate drive was key to that loss. I turned to my kids when they ran the HB dive on 3rd down and didn't attack the edges with Q and said we were going to lose. Although I didn't see the 4th and 24 failure. Enough blame to go around for that loss.

    Quarterback: Quinton Flowers, South Florida Flowers put the finishing touches on his record-setting career by leading the Bulls on a winning 80-yard touchdown drive in the final moments of a 38-34 victory over Texas Tech in the Birmingham Bowl. He accounted for all 80 yards on the drive, including a 26-yard touchdown pass to Tyre McCants with 16 seconds to play.     The joys of being in the SEC. Just go around saying no one can beat you. But if you get beat just say you weren't interested that day, because if you were interested....

    Gilbert could be better. USF history says we're likely to get much worse than him if he leaves. Canales, Rod Smith, Greg Gregory, Paul Wulff... not exactly a murderer's row. The play calling is only part of the OC's job. I think he struggled there being too vanilla in many spots. If he doesn't let his ego get in the way he can get much better as a play caller.

    Another way to read it is that we were real lucky as a staff to have QF here since Sterling's system wasn't in place yet and QF bailed our butts out a bunch.

    If USF is one day in the Power 5 it will only be a matter of time until there's a Power 4.

    If he gets 44 yards rushing in the bowl game Q will be USF's all time leading rusher. And 1 more passing TD to be the all time passing TD leader. And he has the top 3 passing TD seasons in school history.
