    Well it seems they did both understand this lol. I'm sure they probably wanted to get it done sooner but there's probably a lot more hang ups when hiring a HC away from a program. Glad it's done and hopefully we have our guy that'll help turn things around.

    I sure hope not. If the dead period ends and we don't have a full staff in place that will be a huge blunder by both CCS and VPoA that will likely have some very bad consequences when it comes to recruiting. I'm hopeful that they both understand this.

    Going to take a gutsy performance by a lot of young players to get the W tonight. I wonder if Blagmon is second guessing her decision to transfer now? She'd probably be getting a ton of playing time right now.

    I dont know what USF's association will be with the Apollos but they do have three former Bulls on their roster. D'ernest Johnson, Sean Price, and Quinterrius Eatmon.

    Yeah sorry if that wasn't clear. Danny, the Valdosta DC, has a clean record as far as I know. He was a position coach at Army and Mississippi St. as well. If we hire Kerwin I hope he gets a chance to take over VSU. If not, I think he'd be a great addition to our staff.

    He was a starter for us at one point in the early BE years. His brother Kevin also played for us. He was a h.s. coach before getting caught with an underage kid.

    Wouldn't mind this at all. Was 4-2 as interim HC at Miami as well. Would be a good successor candidate.

    And then ESPN took the ACC tie in away from this year and gave them a C-USA team. Bad breaks all around.

    A buddy of mine found an old CD I burned back in 2007 with 4 USF songs on it. Talk about nostalgia. It got me thinking of some of the other songs that came out around that time. I found two more here: I know there was a handful more. Most I think were on Myspace. Does anybody have audio files from any of these other songs?

    Bring in Larry Scott to be OC and OL coach. Put King back with QBs. I like the idea of Scott as our next HC.

    Discipline can mean life or death for those kids. That brings a whole 'nother level of focus along with it that I'm sure pours into every facet of their lives.

    Sounds like Mattox may have left to be with Gilbert and not not one of the four fired coaches. So there may be six coaches gone.

    Exactly. That type of discipline isn't going to work with kids outside of the military academies.
