  1. I agree if it's something that simple. But I would think Michael Kelly at the very least could be had. Maybe Joey Knight or another local sports guy would show up to answer questions. My guess is the "problem" is something different than this though.
  2. If you like drinking then the Tampa area is a good place to be. A ton of craft breweries. Plus the Yuengling factory is in Tampa right next to Busch Gardens. Downtown St. Petersburg has a high concentration of really good breweries and museums. Plus it's closer to the beaches. Fort Desoto, Bean Point on Anna Maria Island, and Clearwater Beach are the top beaches. John's Pass is a but touristy but there are a lot of shops, good restaurants, a brewery, and great views. You can find good Cuban sandwiches all over. Seafood is something you gotta eat while you're down here too. The tailgate atmosphere should be good vs you guys. Our fanbase is pretty laid back and welcoming. Lots 3 & 4 are where the students generally are and the more party-like atmosphere. Hope some of this info helps!
  3. Damnit, this sucks! I can't make fan fest so I was really looking forward to this like I do every year.
  4. He was a starter at a JUCO last season before getting injured. Numbers weren't that impressive. Good to have some depth I guess. https://www.thedailystampede.com/platform/amp/2019/7/25/8904487/former-miami-hurricanes-qb-augie-debiase-transfers-to-usf-charlie-strong-kerwin-bell-blake-barnett
  5. Didn't he say he wanted to be the first former player to become head coach? Auggie bleeds green and gold. Big fan of this move if true.
  6. Hope he pitches in the series but if not still a great opportunity to see the best prospect in baseball, Wander Franco.
  7. Any word on if any of the affiliations outside of the Gasparilla bowl have changed for the existing bowls? And what other conference(s) are tied to the 3(?) new bowls?
  8. I was at game 7 when the Rays beat the Red Sox to win the pennant. Huge Rays fan but, to me, USF-WVU will forever go down as the greatest sporting event I've ever attended. Unless you were there it's hard to comprehend just how electric that atmosphere was. I lost my voice for over a week! Rushing the field is also something I'll never forget.
  9. My overall rankings: Cinci, Houston, USF, UCF, Memphis, Temple, Tulane, Navy, ECU, SMU, Tulsa, UConn
  10. 6-6 GT, SC St., SMU, UConn, ECU, Temple Cronk Wilcox UCF 31 USF 24
  11. If Army, BYU, Air Force, Boise, San Diego St., and Colorado St. were involved you'd easily be doubling the 7 mil a year each program gets with the new AAC contract. Still probably falling well short of the 22 mil a year each program is getting in the Big 12.
  12. I got an email for this event but I'm not sure exactly what it is. A fundraiser I assume? If so, why have it midday on a Thursday as opposed to a Saturday when support could be maximized?
  13. I would trust any of those 3 options over anything Aresco would come up with.
  14. Score a lot of points and contain their run game. D line has to get pressure and LBs need to stuff the holes.
  15. I'm on board for this except I'd make a few changes. As much as I like Army I'd add Colorado State or Fresno St. instead. Move Memphis to the east. In your scenario I feel the divisions are a little too imbalanced. Plus to your traveling points I think that helps out quite a bit there as well.
  16. Dang.. I'll be out of town for a wedding that weekend. Bummer.
  17. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10156897667793429&id=35250178428 To be fair the Rays are also hosting a UF, FSU, and UT night as well as one for USF. Something about inviting the home school's conference rival in for their own special day seems a little sacrilegious to me though. I can't imagine the Orlando Magic having a USF day.
  18. Another Euro flop.. much like Kitija Laska, Maria Jesperson, Laura Ferreira, Laia Flores, Ariadna Pujol, ect. Some players pan out, some don't. It's part of sports. Whether they come from Europe, FL, NYC, Philly, or Chicago has no determining factor on that.
