  1. Very, very doubtful. 2021 on the other hand should be no problem. I'm sure a lot of Gator faithful will buy season tickets to guarantee their seats.
  2. When you're spending half your time kissing babies and shaking hands and the other half game planning for Clemson of course recruiting is going to take a hit. I have a feeling the game plan is to hit the portal hard this year. And then build/strengthen recruiting bonds with local h.s. going forward.
  3. F that. We need to go after Boise, AF, BYU, and San Diego St. and then go have a sit down with ESPN to renegotiate.
  4. Im shocked that prices went up after the past 2 seasons we've had. Last year was understandable with 7 homes games and Wisconsin, BYU, Cinci, and Memphis , SMU, and Temple at home. Like it's been mentioned, this year we only have 6 home games. Nevada is our biggest OOC opponent and UCF and Navy are the only home conference opponents of note.
  5. I get what you're saying but they are still getting paid to do their job. I'm sure at this point he's not even 100% sure who he is retaining.
  6. Joey reported that some of the area recruits Scott was credited with were actually co recruited by Elliot. But I'm sure the same could be said vice versa. Idk.. Hopefully he wins a conference championship before he bolts.
  7. I'm NOT saying Scott isn't known as a great recruiter. Just that Elliot was the one who was the primary recruiter in FL. I know you said credible but here is a article from TDS talking about Elliot's TB recruiting. There are more but I just dont have time to search for them right now. https://www.thedailystampede.com/platform/amp/2019/12/4/20993696/tds-usf-football-search-committee-roundtable-willie-taggart-tony-elliot-clemson-fsu-lane-kiffin-fau?utm_campaign=thedailystampede&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&__twitter_impression=true
  8. From everything I read Elliot was the one who orchestrated that offense. Elliot was also the main recruiter of FL and the Bay Area.
  9. Tony Elliot obviously is a good play caller and having Lawrence there helps too. Not sure what that has to do with Scott though?
  10. App St's coach was hired away after a year with far less pedigree. 3 years might be wishful thinking on your part.
  11. Hard to support a coach when you know he sees you as a stepping stone Hiring CJL would be a bold move. Not hiring him is even bolder. A lot of fans are going to feel betrayed again by USF. Of course if Jeff Scott is hired we all need to step up and continue to support the university. Even if it's not where our heart is.
  12. Joey and Torello are both saying the search is nearing its end. I feel like its going to be Jeff Scott honestly.
  13. Can you imagine if FAU hires Leavitt and beats us next year? That would be catastrophic.
  14. Brett is reporting Arkansas is about 90% done finalizing a deal with Georgia's OL coach.
  15. Just remember the nobody who broke it first I got some more info about the h.s. coach he talked to. The coach is ready to leave his current job if this happens. Pinellas school
  16. Holy sheet... thanks for all the "love" everybody.. lol. I wont name the people involved but I can tell you my source is a long time assistant coach of the said h.s. head coach who was at the dinner with CJL and the h.s. head coach. It is a highly respected bay area coach. I have absolutely no reason to believe I'm getting the runaround but as always, take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt. And I'll have you know, I'm up to like 45 Twitter followers now. Foward all interview requests to my agent.
  17. Who would have thought I was being optimistic at 6-6? I look foward to defending my title next year.
  18. He was well on his way to winning a AAF championship before the league got axed so it may be worth it.
