  1. That was probably me. I'm hoarse af too.
  2. For roadies it's too tuff to choose between Auburn and FSU and ND. The silencing of the crowd at Auburn when that pass landed complete for a TD just incredible. My son and I just looked at each other in disbelief then erupted in celebration. Honorable mention roadies is WVU, Liberty, ECU (first road win vs FBS), Pitt At home beating ranked WVU or ranked UL are equal wins. HM home games: first game, USM, Austin Peay, fg kick win,
  3. 1) South Florida2) 27-143) Jordan Cronkrite4) Tyre McCants5) 200
  4. I have plane tix to fly in for the GaTech football game. I'm looking for 2-4 tix. Hoping between the 20s. Please message me here or email at dsptxpe@gmail.com. Thanks and Go Bulls!
  5. West Virginia U - WVU how about South New Hamphire U too? North Dakota State? ...pot stirred
  6. No Publix in Texas. sigh... You decide for yourself but I was a JJ customer until I found out the owner is a big African game hunter. No reason to kill a giraffe for fun. I used to liked the roast beef with spicy mustard and spicy peps. But no more. PS Brocadoes in East Tampa near 50th and MLK is visited everytime I visit Tampa for a Cuban and deviled crab.
  7. CCS is the USF version of the Bucs Tony Dungy. The D and drafting/recruiting will always be above average but the O will be bland as Dollar Tree vanilla ice cream unless he has an NFL potential QB.
  8. Undergrad: '86-'92 I transferred into USF 3 yrs after HS graduation. For the first 2-3 of years while at USF I was part of a group of guys that would sit and watch college games all day on Sat. There was a MI fan. 2-3 FL school fans and me the NE Cornhusker fan. Sundays & MNF were about the Bucs and Cowboys. During basketball I would go to weekend games every once in a while. I was a student during the two first NCAA appearances. I saw more MBB those seasons than all the rest combined but that isn't a big deal. I worked at UPS M-F 6-9:30 I could not make week day games. Also I became a Chicago Bulls/MJ fan while they were attempting to beat Detroit three seasons in a row during the ECFs before the championship years. So when they won titles I was a NOT band wagon fan. Plus bio father lived in Chicago burbs. Actually got to see MJ live in '88 or '89. Kinda started not liking the Gators during the second half of my time at USF after experiencing the UF self absorbed pompous snobbish fans that they can be. Plus they wouldn't play USF in MBB during my time at USF nor in the early and mid 90s. Went to all home FB games 1997-2006 until I moved the family to TX. So now I bleed Green and Gold. Where my fandom came from... So I have a rich and deep college football history. I was born in Omaha, NE. I was 6 when I saw the Cornhuskers win the NCG in '71. Danced with my Mom and G'ma in the living room. Wanted to play college FB from that day on. I was a Husker fan and still am. They moved to No. 2 team on my list in 1997. I was a USAF brat. Moved to St. Pete and MacDill in the early 70s. Lived in Guam '76-'78 then MidS and HS in St. Pete in the late 70s and early 80s. I became a Cowboy fan in 1976 while living in Guam. Loved watching Roger Staubach, Drew & Preston Pearson, Tony D, make 4th qtr comebacks and all the personalities on the D - Manster, Too Tall, Charlie Waters, Mel Renfro, Tomas Henderson, etc. That is the year they beat Denver's Orange Crush in the 1978 SB. We moved back to St. Pete in 1979. I adopted the home team Bucs but the Cowboys were my No. 1 b/c they were America's team. However in 1979 the Bucs did go to the NFC CG. That's probably why I became a Bucs fan. In high school I was a mild Gator fan b/c I did a few recruiting trips to UF for games. I saw John Robinson's No. 10 USC vs No. 11 UF my junior season in HS in G'ville with my FB coach. Wilber Marshall was incredible in that game. I played DE in HS so I became a huge fan of WM. He later played for the Super Bowl Bears defense. I actually attended a FSU at UF in the mid 80s after HS. I don't evern remember who won.
  9. Dude we are rolling into town in the morning and heading to FL right after the game. Alison (wifey) wanted to visit a close friend on Friday in Magnolia MS. If you do the tailgate thing in the morn maybe we can find you. I will message my seat locations and cell number to you on this site when USF assigns seats.
  10. K...got my (4) tix. First bowl since the Sun Bowl in El Paseo. Not a fan of B'ham (visited for the Bama game and first Bowl vs ECU) but headed to FL from TX about the same time so taking Mama and the young adult pups. This is the only game I get live and in person this year too. Merry Christmas to me. Go Bulls! Beat Tech!
  11. When its realized CWT is not all that and a box of chocolates FSU may be where The Jim gets his next HC chance in 4-5 seasons. Unless KState comes calling first. Just a thought. Not a prediction.
  12. I heard this in Auburn AL 10 yrs and four months ago... Just sayin...
  13. The monkey wrench is noted dame. It’s gotta be 12 teams - 10 conf champs and two wild cards. Eight may work - 5 P5 conf champs two wild cards and the highest ranked G5 conference champ. Just not very fair.
  14. I believe the firing was more for the cover-up than the actual event. I agree coming back probably is not a good idea.
  15. A win over FSU in a bowl may bring some salvage...just probably not completely.
  16. So does Leavitt go to FSU with Willie as a DC or does he get the UofOR HC job? And if Chucky goes somewhere can CJL come back? And would/should he? I think I may just highjacked a thread. I'm sorry I did this...lol
  17. Would this satisfy the G5? A six team playoff. It includes P5 conference champs and the highest ranked G5 conference champ (ACC-CUSA-MAC-MWC-Sun Belt). The top two seeds get byes. Its simple as heck. Let me add if a G5 ever wins the NCG then the format must changed to 12 teams - 10 conference champs and the two highest ranked teams. That's fair AF.
  18. 2...it makes USF's loss to the the Knights less negative. USF will be more AP ranking worthy at the end. And doesn't it mean more $ for the conference if UCF plays in a NYE bowl plus the pressure it will put on the CCG becoming more inclusive. 12 teams is a must for this playoff thingie. It would make the G5 relevant at least the AAC, MWC, & MAC. G5 needs to come together and get some mean azz lawyers and start hammering away. Plus its more $ for all involved. A 12-0 team should have a shot a the Big Show.
  19. Special teams betray QF. 11 point swing - missed fg and pat and a KR for TD. Did CCS comment after game about kicking it straight to the KR? Poor coaching decision or kicker performance. D played better than I expected not that means much.
