Have lived 30 miles north of Austin for 9.5 yrs. I would trade Austin for Tampa in a blink of an eye. Mostly for Bulls games, Publix deli and Brocado's cuban sammies and devil crabs. Austin is a good place to live though. Has great breakfast tacos, TXMex and BBQ but prop taxes are outrageous and traffic is some of the worst in the country. I miss the the Gulf waters and beach. TX beaches are not nice.

While Charlie's time at TX is suspect he did have major QB issues every yr. Some of the Ds problems were the lack O and quick scoring instead of sustained drives.

Hopefully CS will come. I think he'll be expensive but he will stablize recruiting immediately. I think it will cost over $2M a year to get him. However looking outside of the box should never NOT be an option. One of those guys (Keeler) has big time FCS playoff experience and recruits the JUCOs very very well. Remove Q from the USF squad and Sam Houston State would take USF to the wire in a straight up game. The other guy is young and turned a perrenial whipping dog into a consistent FCS playoff contender. And better these guys than Schiano. Both of them will keep USF bowl eligible for the terms of thier first 3 yr contract. By the way the cupboards are not that full at USF especially on the D. After Q and Mack are history bowl eligibility will be a struggle unless USF gets some 3-4 star football recruits that play like 3-4 star football players. #NEVERSCHIANO, #NOWAYSCHIANO

fug...it's just kinda surreal. I didn't really believe CWT was qualified for a top 20 job. I'm thinking most OR fans will be a bit pessimistic about the hire.

Here's another coach to consider is the WY HC. He came from NDSU and has WY bowl eligible.
