this seems to becoming a SOP at football games - college and pros - faking and booing. NE fans boo'd the heck out of IN for doing the fake injury/delay thingie. Sometimes I boo the wife after intimacy. She boos me for lack of performance especially when I fake a cramp to slow momentum or lose a sock.

For everyone else USF is a stepping stone. USF is not P5. It will always be like this.

CCS wants to win badly. His stoic demeanor appears he doesn’t care. CCS wants to be coaching a P5 program. His recruiting is the problem for this team. With talent the O and D schemes have worked at other schools.

The sucking is a direct correlation to recruiting. The offense has no weapons. Mediocre OL. Defense can’t get off the field.

Fire him as soon as the final whistle is blown today.

No defense no offense no attendance no studs on offense no studs on defense no high profile recruits to discuss in three yrs arguably the 3rd best team in the AAC. Now arguably the worst. The future is not Coach Strong. Always had doubts about hiring CCS.

I'm thinking they will hold their own with anyone in the B10...maybe not OSU. MI, PSU, NE, MI St don't seem to be world beaters.

CCS never adapted while at TX. I have my doubts he adapts to conquer the 2019 season challenges. The schedule is not favorable for a major turn a round either. Six victories will be tough to come by.

Elon is ranked sixth in FCS...just sayin maybe Tulsa is four...not seriously though

If CCS has two consecutive 10+ win seasons with two bowl game wins...pretty sure some P5 school will throw some big cash at CCS where he can recruit FL..maybe like TN, SC, VA, NC,...GA Tech???

Barnet is not a future Sunday QB and he was off a bit tonite However the OC consistently made it more difficult. Putting him on the bench was just unwise for the running QB pllays is so gimmick. Bulls should have went to middle of the field more instead of the long ball. Blake won the game with his legs like he did vs GaTech. WR had a few drops too.

Not putting more than $100 on it....but Army did that OU to OT and Old Dominion beat VATech. This is a good fourth qtr team. And ECS did put a beat down on UNC which did the same to Pitt today. Sooo....one game at a time but I expect another Houston 2017 type game in 2018.

Nother perspective considering where CCS last two stops - UL and UT Austin. Those newspapers are all about the college home team. No pro teams either. I know from my former script to the Austin fish wrap. They hardly cover the rest of the top 25. So the TBT hasta be a let down It will be 30 more yrs before USF gets equal billing to FSU and UF unless a NC trophy ever comes to reside on Fowler Ave. Yea yea crazy thoughts just sayin.

Peanut gallery's two cents... I expected the team to be a bit flat after that fight last week. To middle weights stood toe to toe in the FL heat. It was brutal and had to take a toll. I still wanted to fly to Chicago so bad though I could taste it but I digress. Barnett is a gamer. Knock on wood he continues to avoid fatal mistakes. If his deep ball was better he mighta played on Sundays. Dammnn glad to have him. Defense is soft on the run but they are pretty good in late in the game too. Eliminate the penalties then this team can be dominate this season. As for the day I think UofIL is a lil better than last year and USF may not be the same team as last season but still good enough to compete for the conference division. Our Bulls probably stole one that puts them half way to a bowl game.. I think they can compete in all the games on the schedule especially with the last one being in Tampa. Hang on Bulls fans because this could get good down the road. To be continued...

I traveled from TX to FL for the Tech game. The Sunday paper sports page head line was UF's lose to UK. The title of the 1/8 page front page of the USF game was not even recognizable to be a USF football game with vs a team with some tradition in Tampa Stadium. I was completely disapointed.
