    I agree with Coach Taggart on this one. It's a bad place to be late at night. He's looking out for the best interest of his players.

    Seminoles 38 - 9 Mack Price 231 We are an improved team, but this is a tough game. I think we will have trouble running the ball and stopping the run which will give the FSU a huge advantage.

    Uh it (USF Roster) says he weighs 217 and if you watch his high school film he was trucking people I didn't think he was that thick. Reports from folks watching practices said he looked small. 6 foot and 220 is pretty good. The difference in 10 lbs under pads is unnoticeable. The difference in height between QF, Bench, and AW is very noticeable. So 6'-0" vs 6'-2" vs 6'-3". Some would say that an extra 2" doesn't really matter. (insert poster's name here) old lady ain't one of them however!!!!! Not a chance on Earth QF is 6' tall. I think they measured is height while he was wearing his helmet. He's 5'10 at most.

    A lot depends on who ends up being QB. Flowers at QB = 4-8 Any of the other QB's as a starter = 7-5

    No chance. The running game should be really good and Mack will have a great season, but not 2 guys getting 1000+.

    I was there on Saturday and totally agree with you. Same situation as last year with QF. He's a RB trying to play QB.

    What if we had a great QB? I would settle for a "good" or average QB.

    I would be surprised it he got the waiver. However, it's game changer if he does and it will translate into more wins. Having watched several practices he is by far the best QB on the roster.

    The oline and running backs are solid. The defense will be better than last year. With those strengths, I think this will be a much improved team over last year. A win at Maryland would give us a shot a really good season.

    I thought Wilson looked good in the spring practices. With very limited reps, the kid seems to excel whether it's at QB or WR. As bad as the WR's were last year, I say give him some quality reps to see what he can really do. Although, if QF is the QB I don't think it really matters who plays WR.

    I am guilty of it at times as well. The QB position is tough and everyone has a strong opinion about their quality of play. There's a 3-way competition going on for starting center and we don't dedicate multiple discussions to those guys.

    +1 Evan Wilson...Cinderella Story. You better believe CWT would convert him back in a heartbeat if his options evaporated. I believe some on here reported last year that Evan Wilson was a pure pocket passer That wouldn't fit the new offense Watching Wilson at practice, he seems the most athletic of the QB group.

    CWT has done a poor job with the QB's since day 1. It wouldn't shock me to see Bench leave as well.

    Can't believe that's the best (QB's) we've got....I had offensive hopes but not after watching some of today's game. "D" is miles ahead of the offense so that's a bright spot. I agree. I attended several practices as well as the Spring game. IMHO all 3 are terrible. White doesn't have the athletic ability to play at this level. Flowers looks like a running back trying to play QB. He's too short and I don't think he has the mental or physical skill set to be effective. Not sure what prevents Bench being a good QB - but for whatever reason it just doesn't work on the field. I would quit wasting time on all three and look at the other QB's on the roster.

    Really enjoyed watching them play this year. Congratulations on a great season.

    I hope we don't waste a scholarship on him. He doesn't have the skill set to play QB and he did nothing as a receiver at Vandy.

    Harlan is top notch and I think he will do fine. Football is obviously the most visible sport and we will see what kind of leadership skills he has if we end up having another 4 win or worse season.

    I think it's a good opening game. Hard to believe the season doesn't start for 6 months.

    I was at a practice earlier in the week and Wilson made some really nice catches at that practice as well. I also thought he looked good at QB in the spring came last year. Definitely more athletic than a lot of the other guys.
