The question isn't "whether", but "who" will replace him.

Can we just decline the AAC tournament invite and move right to looking for a new coach?

^^^ this, and maybe we can use the money saved to coax Tony LaRussa out of retirement.  He does have Tampa ties.  Anyone think he'd want the job?

Tampa ties?  He graduated from USF.  That is better than Tampa ties.

Think the most obvious place to at least entertain the thought is 15 minutes down I-275, Joe Urso , if he would even want to leave .... to replace his college coach.

Right.

Because it turned out so well last time we hired an ex-Spartan coach ...

Well, there it is ...

Tony La Russa for USF baseball HC!!

If he hadn't just accepted another job the other day, I'm positive he would have taken the USF gig.
