Why didn't we try to get him here?

And AW comes with a higher ceiling. Plus, Cameron's talent to douche ratio was all out of whack.

Why didn't we try to get him here? Because we have exceeded our quota of guys who don't complete 50% of their passes. "He played in six games for the Demon Deacons in his sophomore and junior seasons. In those six games, Cameron completed 17 of 40 passes for 140 yards. He has yet to record a touchdown in his career."http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/fau-owls/fau-blog/sfl-fau-adds-wake-forest-transfer-quarterback-tyler-cameron-20150625-story.html Edited August 17, 2015 by SANJAY

I get the impression we didn't pursue him, or maybe he just wants to be closer to home (just a 30-40 minute drive to campus). We was injured early in his career, and never seemed to pan out. Let's start the urban legend that QBs who jilt USF are doomed to mediocrity.

But I can't think of a recent, highly touted QB that has come & struggled.

It's not like we've ever pulled a 5-star guy (or a true 4-star, really) so there are very few data points if that's your cutoff. If you mean highly touted for us, I can think of plenty.
