This type of attitude has gotten us into trouble in the past (at QB for instance). We need to recruit virtually every position every year. That's how you keep a team stocked. We are at least 4 deep at each of the two LB positions and no I'm not counting guys that play DE. I'm sure we will still sign at least one mlb and olb in this class as well. If everyone stays and we sign Micario Stanley we will have 5 middle backers alone and none being seniors plus Harris, Bayes, Brown and Sawtelle at weakside. Nobody on the roster is hybrid enough to play it effectively right now especially every down. Best thing to do is to put the most athletic de there for now.
