Question: Who is USF's Rival in the AAC (UCF EXCLUDED)

FGCU? Don't laugh. That basketball game a couple years ago when they had gone to the tourney the year before was ruckus. Go to a baseball game, its never clean between those two teams.

They seem to be owning us in non-revenue sports the last few seasons.

 

 

Could end up being a bigger rival than UCF?

 

No way. Our schadenfreude against UCF has only increased, since we're now in the same conference as them.

ECU has become a good rival. It all started with that bad call that USF got against them that helped us win that game in Greenville, NC. ECU was pissed. Then there was the scuffle the night before the Birmingham Bowl game when ECU fans were trying to start a riot against the USF fans in downtown Birmingham. Also, dont forget that USF stole there coach in Skip Holtz. Doug Woolard did a great job and flying into Greenville and talking Skip Holtz into riding to Tampa in that plane. Woolard basically kidnapped the ECU coach and convinced him to leave a good gig. USF got the BIG EAST invite over ECU. ECU fans must hate USF.
