Sarasota guy, who knows the Harbaughs, and is now at USF (stretching for it a little, but you get the picture). Where have we seen this before?

Will this guy have better Luck here? I hope he can still recruit qbs.

What does a director of player personnel actually do?

Well according to my "research" the job entails "running the football operations, working with recruiting coordinators, and setting up camps." So he is a glorified recruiter/event planner. He has held the position a number of times (for Stanford, Nevada, and UF), helped to recruit Andrew Luck to Stanford.

Well I know nothing about all that and I hear Stanford and UF do good football things so I approve of the hire I suppose.
