Sure, not a loaded group of individuals by any means, but they certainly pulled a better class together than UCF. UF came on late, so I can see giving them a good grade, but Miami certainly pulled in a lot of better prospects than UCF. Not to mention, what about FIU and FAU? They're state schools, too. We needed a good QB and didn't get one. If we got one, a solid B/B+. It wasn't a very exciting class, just solid. UCF's is just a little better in terms of qulaity than ours, but not A- quality. I think the joke of the article isn't that they underrated our class, it's that they vastly overrated the UCF class.

Former Dade County passing leader Jeff Godfrey finished his career at UCF at WR. HS records are useless.

A lot of big arm talent. For example Dinovo supposedly was outplaying Holman in practice during all of Fall camp but during the games Dinovo wasn't in Holman's universe. I still can't believe Dinovo started vs Penn St Also most UCF fans know GOL will never be a great recruiter but we'll take the player development and the consistent winning that he has given the program the last 4 years. Despite that GOL and the staff still have recruited a nice depth chart at QB. Taggart's main and possibly only strength is recruiting. I'd bet if he was at UCF this cycle coming off a Fiesta Bowl it would be a guaranteed Top 40 class. The lack of flash in UCF recruiting classes most years has more to do with the coaches than UCF itself. A coach like Cristobal or Charlie Strong on his way up the ladder would have cleaned up recruiting at UCF
