No official announcement yet, but Tomsula and Rathman are apparently the only two to stay. So where does The Jim end up next?

there are plenty of coaching changes still swirling around in which Leavitt could end up somewhere. I don't know what ties he does or doesn't have, but I don't even know if guys like Rex Ryan have finalized their coaching staffs. 

 

Point being, there are enough vacancies that he could end up somewhere as another LB coach in the pros. I don't know if colleges would consider him after he was ousted out. Though it has been a while... time heals all wounds? Especially for those who were not inflicted?

im sur esomeone will hire the LB coach of the team with some of the best LB play in recent years. 

 

I hope the Jets call him, new coach, new staff.

I read the article but I don't understand why you conclude that CJL is to be fired. The DC is leaving and the DL coach is now the head coach, so there appears to be room for him to stay at he same position or even move up.

So much for that continuity thing. According to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, the San Francisco 49ers are planning to clean house after promoting defensive line coach Jim Tomsula to the head coaching gig.
 
The report indicates that only running backs coach Tom Rathman will remain with the team.
 
 
It's still only a report, though, so nothing definite ...
