Crazy that he would make more than Saban. Saban should be highest paid coach in football for what he has done. Not saying I'm a Saban guy, but you can't deny what he as done.

 

You also can't deny what Harbaugh has done on both the college level (USD and Stanford, especially) AND the pro level. 

 

Harbaugh should get an SEC gig, he would probably surpass Saban at some point.

Everyone up here wants Harbaugh despite the contract. Michigan should have offered him same contract as Saban to give them a bit more room to go up if needed. Saban is a proven winner with championships who should be the highest paid. I'm with phanatic as you can't deny what he has done. I have talked with quite a few Michigan fans who feel the same way, but want him at whatever the cost may be.

 

This contract could drastically change the contracts coaches are given. If Harbaugh makes this much, then you are going to have Miles, Fisher and Meyer who have also won national championships come out and say they should be paid that much when Harbaugh hasn't won anything.

 

I am all for Michigan winning as they have become the 2nd team for me since moving here. Ann Arbor is an awesome town and not anything like Gainseville.

Not even close. Ann Arbor much better place than any small college town in FL. in my opinion. Ann Arbor probably more similar to Madison or Berkeley. I was at Berkeley a long time ago so could be a stretch.
