Why cant we try plays like this?    Because Our players cant even learn the playbook they have been given already.    Listen and read Taggarts comments on Flowers.       Can you imagine adding more trickery to the play book and expecting this group to execute it properly?

Maybe the reason they "can't" learn the playbook is because it's so boring.

 

Most of these kids played spread in high school, trying to learn Tagg's plays is like watching turds dry out.
