4:30 to STL from Houston was fine, but then nothing to Milwaukee until at least Sunday. I was crushed and still don't understand why flights can't get into Milwaukee? I spoke to Southwest rep and didn't give a specific reason. I was just trying to not yell through the phone. I was so excited and just so bummed. Thought about a long drive from another city but so last minute and would have been just myself on drive unfortunately not worth the stress. sorry fellow Bulls. Please enjoy the experience for me

Are you stuck in St. Louis? Not too late to make the drive up if you leave now. . took me only 5.5 hours Friday afternoon.  Weather was great and roads are in fine condition.

i decided not to go since flight would have got in to STL at 6:30. If I knew anyone else was in STL around that time I would have split driving costs

We have 110 miles left until we hit Madison. Construction traffic from Minneapolis has been moving quite well.

LETHALWEAPONMV: I left town around 3PM, though I could've adjusted my travel schedule.  Didn't find out about the airport issues until later. . . guess it's just one of the few advantages of only traveling by car.

Sheriff: Drive safe.  Hope to see you at the game Saturday, although I won't be in the USF section.  Bought my ticket late through a secondary site.

ya i got e-mail at 1:30 saying it was canceled and saw it at 2:30 en route to airport. was on phone at 3:45 trying to find way to see if i could get into detroit or green bay or something and figure out something although clock kept ticking and just decided at 4 best to go back home and not risk flight to STL

That is a bummer Lethal! We don't get many chances to go see our Bulls play in these type of environments...

I saw one of our Bulls had his plane diverted back to Tampa this morning due to a fire in Chicago. I'm sure he wasn't the only one on that plane. Chicago airports are closed to Noon as of right now. Good luck to those of you going to the game. I leave later today - flying into Detroit and then to Madison.

Just fly into Milwaukee, nice airport that's very similar to TPA.

* Saw earlier posts saying Milwaukee was also shut down.

A little late, but your other alternatives are Appleton,WI or GreenBay,WI   airports.

Sorry to hear all this. Had a great day yesterday at tastings at a distillery, brewery and the UW Union. I thought the presence of Bulls fans was light not knowing of all the airport woes. Those of us who are here just have to represent all that much more. GO BULLS!
