Would Penn State have signed the deal if the UCF, "home game" were actually at their home?

 

I thought it was signed as a Home/Home but then later UCF bent over for Ireland ...?

The merchants were going to be in all their glory following that first game no matter what.

 

 - Lose, we'd all be apopleptic but they'd be postal.

 - Win, but not by a "comfortable" margin, we all see what happened, "Coaches don't know what they're doing. We're still going to suck this year!"

 - Win by a comfortable margin, "it's the worst team in the FCS, we should have scored twice as many points. We're still going to suck this year!"

In my research, I found that Penn State was looking to back out of the return game if UCF didn't go for the Ireland idea.
