.., does anyone know how many season tickets USF sold?

I asked that question of folks that would know as well as someone whose job you would think was to disclose those sorts of answers but received no answer.

One of my sources indicated that the total season ticket sales for football this season is ~9K (9K is the number of tickets...it IS NOT the number of donor accounts). Account holders may have dropped the volume of tickets they purchase (e.g. four instead of eight), but I have to think that some donors dropped off completely.

I've always purchased four tickets, but only use all four for a few games per year (when the in-laws are in town), otherwise it's only me and the Mrs. with scanned tix.

As for something being "off"...tally wise, remember that TSA & USF count differently: last year USF's average was reported at 34,702 whereas TSA showed 20,379 . In 2012 it was USF 44,130 and TSA 30,455 and in 2011 USF was at 44,550 and TSA at 32,435. So it's not like these numbers are necessarily close to begin with. The University (all universities) report tix distributed whereas TSA reports through the turnstiles.

We should see what attendance is like when we start conference play...lotta interest in Maryland & NCSU. We'll see with ECU, Uconn & Houston show up how much attendance has backed off from last season.

I always scan my tickets, butts in seats or not.
