Scholarship athletes use Pell grant money as extra "walk-around" money.  It would be a big sacrifice to ask a kid to use his Pell Grant for what it was intended to be used for.  Wouldn't have to do that at other schools.

Exactly, this kid is going to go somewhere that offers him a full ride. If we don't have anymore schollies, then he isn't going to make any sacrifices for our school. I won't be surprised if he cancels his visit here, since we're full.

Haven't seen that Peters has signed yet ... make it a race to the signing table... although, with Canty the only true pg that may be on the roster for 2015-16, Peters appears to be the bigger need.

He would be the obvious choice to go.

That will become more clear, if Murphy is allowed to take his official visit to USF. It would make no sense to have him visit, if there is no scholarship available for him.
