This is the answer to Hawkins leaving.  Looks to be a good pickup.

Apparently, this has been the plan for awhile.

JC recruited him with the help of Orlando Antigua.  Now that Antigua got the South Florida job, he is taking Nehemias with him.

This is great and by adding Juco players Coach O can balance out his future classes. Going to be loading up in the next 2 classes that are extremely rich in talent, much better then the 2014 class.

Morillo's school: "He is ferocious & creative in the paint & has the potential to be a game-changer every time he steps on the court." #USF

Some old tweets taking about his high potential.

  2. Saw Nehemias Morillo in November, had potential. He looks a lot more comfortable now that he's not playing inside for ND Prep. #HHClassic

  1. Notre Dame Prep has potential high-major sleeper in Nehemias Morillo. He's playing out of position, but he's bouncy, athletic, active. #NPS

Good speed and quickness in the open floor, good ball handler as well. Seems very comfortable playing at PG or SG. Definitely seems to be more then capable of playing either position and wants the ball in his hand.

Actually, his 3FG% is so bad and he took so many, that it throws is overall FG% off more that usual.  Back out his 3's and he shot 53% from the field.  What's odd is his FT% is pretty decent to shoot so poorly from 3.  My guess is, he's a pretty decent 3-point shooter in practice and that's why he's allow to shoot that many in games, but his shot selection is probably lacking.
