It will be one of 12 FBS games in week 15 and one of 10 played on Saturday. Coming off a close 23-20 loss at rival UCF, the Bulls will look to snap a five-game losing skid with their second road victory of the season and first at Rutgers since the very first meeting between the schools in 2005. USF won that game 45-31 but has lost in its last three trips to Rutgers, including the last, 20-17 in overtime, in 2011. Rutgers leads the series 6-2 and 3-1 at home. USF’s last victory came 28-27 in Tampa in 2010, one of four games in the series decided by three points or less. Rutgers posted a 23-13 victory in Tampa last year. After a 2-0 AAC start, USF is looking for a third conference win, which would equal its most since 2007. USF is 1-3 on the road this season and closes the regular season with back-to-back road contests for just the second time in program history and first since 2006. USF is 16-24 all-time in conference road games.

Offense has to do something remotely exciting tonight. In my opinion this is not only about winning the game, but about being able to sell season tickets. He won't think about it that way, but if it is a bad and boring performance it will be an off season with little to look forward to.
