I think pope will be a much better blocker than either price and McFarland have been so far but with better receiving skills than the linemen we have been forced to put in at TE to block. Was a position of need. Pope was going to be our best option based on the way the board went.

Nothing big from what I saw out of HS JTrue, just Northwestern State. 

Taggart must have seen something he really liked. At 6'4 240 he's a big dude...but then again it seems like that's all we are going after unless you are a DB. And even then it seems you need to be 5'11 or 6'0.
