Did time expire as that went in or did GMU have a final chance at a shot?

 

The scoreboard said 2.4 seconds when the shot went in. George Mason inbounded, took a dribble and I forget who the player was but he heaved a desperation shot at mid court that hit the glass but no where close to the bucket.

The reactions on the peoples faces looks like our faces in the crowd for football last season when the game clock was at around 1 minute left.

Yeah I got some laughs off of that. The guy in the gray sweat top under the basket is George Mason's center Jonathan Arledge, who will miss the season with a back injury suffered in an auto accident over the Summer. He played one game for the Patriots this season but his presence is missed. Also, below is Doc Nix, the leader of the Patriots Band, the Green Machine. They play a variety of soul tunes, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, even some Van Halen. Fun to listen to.
