By the end of the season we should have enough bricks to build the on campus football stadium.   I would seriously like to see a shooting chart that shows our shooting percentage outside of the pain

Oklahoma state made a pact that none of them were going to leave the gym until each had made 500 shots everyday...that is a great shooting team...USF players just seem to smoke a lot and party in ybor

Seriously, what is the biggest problem that leads to all this lack of success in USF athletics? Is it the type of athletes we recruit? Is it the water? Are our athletes and coaches slightly mentally challenged? Indian Burial Ground? What do you think it is that we have across the board failure year in and year out?

This is just embarassing...we are getting the crap beat out of us in every aspect of the game...turning computer off now....I don't know what will fix USF athletics, but something needs to happen fast.

I believe USF has a reputation amongst high school athletes as a good school in a great city with great weather where there is no pressure to perform and by that I mean win.  This athletic department has no history, tradition or for that matter much school spirit and we see that from the AD all the way down.  See last Friday's football game in mouse town.  They don't have much history or tradition but they're developing quite a bit of school spirit.  An OCS helps...I digress.

 

We're seeing this in the football program as well.  Look what happened to Joyce and Jenkins and listen to the quotes by Taggart of players not being that upset after a loss.  I know we're on a basketball thread but I believe this problem is pervasive throught the athletic department.  Taggart is trying to change the culture of the football program and I don't know if Heath is the one to change it in the basketball program.

 

Until we get players that hate losing and want to win more than they want to live in Tampa and play a little hoops or football and have some fun, we won't start to turn this thing around.

 

I hope I'm around to see it happen.  Until then for the few remaining....Go Bulls!!!!

USF had the fast break but Collins didn't make the pass to the player streaking to the basket. Got bailed out with the foul and now technical foul. Make the FTs and they are right back in the game
