My Intramural softball team had just played Nick and Will's team a few months before this happened. Sad stuff, but pretty cool that the story made it to Hollywood though.

I still think Nick embellished the story after he realized he could capitalize on it. One of the football players (can't remember his name) was a very strong swimmer and Nick made it seem like he was a god out there doing everything. He's written a book, been on Oprah, etc...I call bulllcrap about him being played like some superhero.

To be fair, Nick wasn't a college student at the time of the accident.  Granted, he was only 24, but it's not like The Rock will be playing an 18 year old kid.
