Unfortunately true, our fan base is not like an Auburn...until we build a winning program that is.

Our football program has only been in existence for less than 20 years, so it's hard to have a strong fan base. I'm 33 and never saw anyone wear a USF hat or shirt when I was a kid, now I see I see kids everywhere wearing USF stuff. It will take time, but I'm hoping we will get there.

I also think if the offense didn't suck as bad as it does you'd see more people in the stands. I haven't missed a home game since 2002, but even I'm thinking about other things I'd rather do. I catch myself thinking how I'd rather be fishing then watching USF football. USF football hasn't given us much to be excited about in years.

I can tell you this ..... I hated with a passion, every time I had to call a season ticket holder and tell them that they can not renew their same seats. It always felt like I was personally breaking a promise to them. I know some in the upper deck are there because it is cheap, but some up there prefer those seats (50 yard line as a non-donor, vs. lower level endzone).

I get that none of our QBs can throw to save their life, so adapt the offense. Run a wishbone or something. We just can't keep doing the same stupid stuff with players that can't execute.

It's not just the QB. It's more than just formations and play calling. We need a couple of talented recruiting classes to get where we need to go. Taggart's doing ok at that so far. Just need him to sell the dream and get em signed.
