It would seem to me, that a cure or treatment for the disease would be a pretty major thing to include in the documentary, considering the use of the word "crisis" throughout the report. I'm inclined to believe that they found the claims to be false or exaggerated.

Right now you have MDs saying there isn't enough data. They want to wait decades to collect data. It took 16 years and Congress to get the NFL to address it. Now what was wanted was funding for a cure. This is the MD that found the first case and the NFL tried to smear. So either the guy abandoned trying to find a cure because he didn't get funding or he later found it wasn't working. It may be in the book. I will get it eventually.

Looks like even though the NFL apparently pressured ESPN from dropping out of the League of Denial documentary, they are going to discuss concussions on Game Day today. I think a result of this will be a vast reduction in the amount of contact in practice. Its becoming glaringly apparent its not just concussions, its sub-concussive blows that are causing this micro-damage to the brain that causes long term injury.

The U.S. is moving on to what the rest of the world calls football. But nonetheless I have a hard time envisioning the NFL and entire sport going down because of this...legal solutions will probably take over.

Just wonder when OSHA steps in especially now the NFLPA has spoken out them not being in the documentary but are aware and being proactive.
