Does anyone know who we are recruiting for the Defensive Line this year? I haven't heard a peep about a DT or DE yet.

I wonder how the Eric Mayes situation is going. He was our only ESPN 300 player in last year's class, but he had to go to JUCO because of grades. In pre-season he said he was still committed to the Bulls. I hope this is still the case and he can join us soon.

What's up with Derrick Calloway and Deadrin Senat. I assume Calloway is redshirting. What about Senat? Is he a JUCO guy or redshirting?

JUCO Guy??? Haven't heard anything like that. I think are both primed to learn their way into the system until i am disassembled otherwise.

Calloway has already played so he's not available for a redshirt. I believe Senat has not played yet, so he's still able to redshirt.

I don't believe Mayes went JUCO; he is expected in January the last I read (which would not be possible if he had gone JUCO).  I believe he might have went prep school to get whatever he needed corrected.

 

I have not read anything in a little while on this though.

Maybe that's what it was. I couldn't remember. I just knew he said he was committed, but went somewhere to get his grades up. Hope he can get those grades and is still committed

Senat has been on the sidelines all season long, so he's enrolled at USF, not JuCo. I'm thinking staff will be redshirting Senat this season, barring a run of injuries at the DT postion.
